Marbella is 10 minutes by car, but for the energetic who like to walk along the beach it can take about 1½ hours. The scenic towns of Ronda, Casares, Istan and other Andalucian villages are well worth a visit. The drive to Ronda alone is breathtaking. There is an excellent local bus service from the edge of the complex. The bus goes either to Puerto Banus or San Pedro de Alcantara where buses depart to a range of destinations.

The area is well serviced by taxis and there are plenty of car hire companies from which to choose.
